“Fashion is the healthiest motivation for losing weight” – Karl Lagerfeld. And he’s right. I’ve spotted this one in facebook, so if anyone knows the designer – let me know and I’ll add a credit link. I guess it was scanned from some fashion magazine, but have no idea which one.
This is one of the worst good doodles I’ve seen :) May be it’s supposed to be cheerful, I don’t know. The style looks interesting because it’s oldschool, but also it looks sad and industrial, which doesn’t make my day brighter. Personal opinion. Do you like it ? You can check the previous google doodle logos here : google.com/logos PS: By the way – do you think we should celebrate on April 2…
29 April 2011 – the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton earned its own doodle in the header of YouTube. Personally I didn’t watch the wedding online, but obviously – it was the biggest video event from some time now. No Google royal doodle yet, though. The logo was uploaded at http://s.ytimg.com/yt/img/doodles/royal_wedding-vflZ8V2om.png … and it’s still there.
Actually this idea has been exploited plenty of times and a variety of logos has been used each time. However, this particular logostache poster deserves some recognition. More info on mustache logo designs here. :)
I saw the movie poster and the logo recently. May be it’s just me, but I saw a pistol in it, not just a 2 dynamic / italic words with a common starting letter. So I’ve spend 5 minutes to play with it and make it more readable. As a result – cock at the back and sight at the front were added. I wanted to post it as an illustration of how you can add just 2 little details and transform what you…
As you know Starbucks redesigned their logo for their 40th anniversary (2011). Twitter was flooded with the news last week. Bullet points in the story are: Why? They need to sell more stuff than just coffee these days Who? The design (the crop) was home-made ( in-house design by Starcbucks) Who else? Lippincott and BBDO will help for the brand rollout in the next few months. Reaction: designers…
Grab the popcorns and the ice-cream with your favourite logo and sit down to enjoy this epic logo spoof. Pay attention- the movie is 8:35, but it’s worth watching. In case you are asking yourself “What’s this thing” ? – It’s an AICP 2010 Chicago Sponsor Reel. Made by Optimus and ONE… whatever this should mean :)
So this is the limited edition poster of Ibraheem Youssef and the interesting part is that all these logos are illustrating the top Youtube movies for 2010. I guess one can take notes how some things are done or what to avoid. Overall – good job. Which one is your favourite logo here ? He’s writing in his blog :“Paul and myself enjoyed working on this thoroughly throughout December, It started off…
All you do is type the first thing that comes into your head for each logo (every time you hit “submit,” a new logo comes up). Over time (not a lot of time, in this case, which I’ll get to in a minute), each featured brand has its own tag cloud, representing the collective perception and thoughts of that brand. The more times a word or phrase is typed by people, the bigger it shows up in the tag…
The first one is the original logo on the front page. The rest are the Vimeo.com holiday logos for the end of 2010. They are still visible in the inner pages. Or at address : http://a.vimeocdn.com/images/logo\_vimeo\_holidays_1.png ( 1 to 5 ). I think they are cute. May be a a snowflake is missing… The “Rudolf” ( #5 in the picture above ) and the “party” ( #3) are my favourite. With these nice…
