Just found some cool coffeecup logo designs. The dynamic-logo-design trend is coming with full power. Are we gonna register visual marks at all after 30 years ? – And yes – some of these may be characterized more as illustrations.., but they are cool, right ?
This TRUST sculpture by Tobias Rehberger reminded me to look for some more shadow logotypes and marks. This trend is very popular last few years and it will become even more popular thanks to the new technologies. Here’s my selection: Bonus – some other shape designs Sources: http://io9.com/5893084/gruesome-shadow-art-transforms-garbage-and-mummified-rats-into-severed-heads http://www…
Sun tan logos are great to experiment if your design is simple-shaped … Tan tattoos give wearers a memory of their summer holiday and turn the imperfection of tan lines into a sweet message of love. You can buy these on kiskin.it or just try to make your own sun tan logos / tattoos :)
The Days of the week are named for the ancient gods/planets. There are 5 planets visible to the naked eye from the earth, plus the sun and the moon, that make up the pantheon of 7: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. You can see some interesting pictures of the candlestick symbol in this blog post
Any idea what these icons/logos stand for ? They are the Adobe touch logos, launched in 2011, which I somehow overslept :) In case you are wondering ( as I was ) what are these Adobe touch apps for – watch the movie: I’m not sure I’m impressed with the touch logos, but I like the illustration for the recent advertising campaign :)
The image above is a contest proposal for a magazine cover of Signcafe ( Bulgarian mag for advertising ). The theme of this specific issue was “Product placement”. My question is : how many logos do you recognize in inside ? :) The author is Nikola Arnaudov ( facebook prifile link ).

This is probably why their pudgy white mascot Bibendum is now intrinsically part of cycling graphic design. We are all familiar with his layered tire appearance, but we may be less acquainted with the history of the brand. It is actually one…
And it’s not so pretty. A new big player in the social websites market is coming and it brings its own logo. Meet… “meetme.com” :) It’s the product of the merger of QuePasa and myYearbook. Check the stats bellow and you may get an idea what’s that all about. Whole new 874 million people to meet! Of course – we can’t check if these figures are correct, but the stats are definitely interesting. Do…
Making patterns in real time in Adobe Illustrator with the new CS6? Well, it was about time! I’ve always wondered why Adobe hasn’t inserted such a function… Looks like something that we can use when doing logos and logotypes. Brilliant for packaging paper and many more brand designs.
