I’ve spotted the new KIA K9 . It’s a nice copy of BMW so I was interested in the logotype: I thought – this car deserves another logo. Here’s the 5 minute sketch: Here are some other K9 logos from different companies: Personally I like the red one with the circle although it reads 9K, not K9.
May be most of you know one of the symbols of the communism – the russian car – Moskvich. Some photos of this Moskvich 408 Coupe ( very rare – they say there are only 2 cars like this in the world ) have inspired me to find pictures of different Moskvich logotypes. The badges on the back of the car, not the front logos. This is the best picture I’ve found. A lot of models on 1 place. Nice…
To be honest – I’ve paid attention to this logo just today. The campaign of the “Volt” is at its peak, so I clicked on one of the banners ( by the way – it was a nice banner ). Then I’ve clicked on the video to see a car that pretty much looked like some kind of Honda. After the videos was over I was… like “wait a minute – what was that crappy logo there at the end ?!”. So this is a print-screen…
You can see in every car commercial the badge of the brand lighted in some pretty cool way. And that’s awesome usage of the pastic of the form. I’m showing the following screens and the video because the motion designers managed to get the most of the logo in every aspect – the opening shots, in the movie titles and in the closing brand motion animation. Some logos are just constructed very…
May be a lot of you are fans of the new VW design series. It’s neat for sure. What stroke me was the logo in the lights. The mini VW badge in the lights is a great small concept and shows attention to the detail. Is the German design going to conquer the Italian from behind :) ?
Few notes : the brand guideline is in Russian. Although – I’m sure you’ll understand every brand design rule even if you don’t speak the language. Some of the materials inside ( like the form design diagram ) are in German, so most probably it’s a Russian adaptation / translation. The other thing is that I don’t know the year this guideline is designed. May be it’s from around 2000. Just may be…
Toyota has Lexus, Nissan has Infinity and Hyundai invented Equus back in 1999. In 2009 they released the new version of the car. In the end of 2010 they have started the campaign and I think this year (2011) we’ll hear more and more about it. There are already reviews in YouTube in which the government (of South Korea) is supporting the brand by using the cars for their leaders so you can get the…
